No — footage records locally to your NVR/DVR without an internet connection. You only need internet if you want remote viewing on your phone or push alerts.
No — the $195 NVR setup fee covers configuring the recorder, storage, and remote app access only. Each camera's cable run is billed separately as its own capped drop.
